Transfer window opens 1 Feb 25
We welcome new players of all abilities to join our club. Additionally, we welcome players looking to transfer from other clubs. We understand that some families may find the transfer process challenging to navigate.

Permits
Our footy club only utilises permits under extenuating circumstances. For example, if a player’s current AFL club is unable to field a team for them, we are happy to welcome them on a permit. Outside of these rare situations, we encourage all families to go through the Transfer Process if their desire is to play at the Cronulla Sharks.
2025 Registrations Fees
Juniors Registrations open 1 Oct 24
Juniors U8 $160 early bird (standard registration $180)
Juniors (U9 – U12) $200 early bird (standard registration $220)
Juniors (U13 – U17) $220 early bird (standard registration $240)
Auskick Registrations open 1 Nov 24
Auskick (U5 - U7) $150 early bird (standard registration $165)
*early bird rate expires 31 Jan 2025

Once on the page, simply click the "Get Started" icon at the bottom. Please ensure you are logged into your PlayHQ account before registering your player(s) to maintain the same profile as the 2024 season.
New Registrations
If you have family or friends who are new to the sport and interested in joining our great club for the 2025 season, they can register using the links provided above. They will need to create a PlayHQ profile for their junior Shark in order to complete the registration process.
New Girls To Cronulla JAFC Play Free In 2025
Cronulla Sharks Junior AFL Club is excited to welcome new players in 2025.
As part of our commitment to growing the game, all new girls who register to play with Cronulla Sharks JAFC in 2025 will play for free. No previous AFL experience is required, and we welcome girls of all ages to join our inclusive and fun club environment including those who have previously played.
We’re also rewarding our loyal Sharks community! Any junior Shark (boy or girl) who refers a new girl to register and play with Cronulla Sharks JAFC in 2025 will receive a 50% refund on their registration fee. To qualify, the referred player must not have been registered with Cronulla Sharks JAFC in 2024, and the refund will be processed after the referred player has completed their third game during the 2025 season.

Referred a Friend?
If you referred a friend who registers to play, please email our Registrar Donna at registrar@cronullajafc.com.au with both your details and those of the girl you referred so it can be registered for tracking purposes.
Disclaimer: Any girl who was not registered with Cronulla Sharks JAFC in 2024 is eligible for free registration in 2025.
Any existing Shark (boy or girl) who refers a new girl to register and play at Cronulla Sharks JAFC in 2025 - who was not registered in 2024 - will receive a 50% refund on their registration fee. The refund will be processed after the referred player's third game during the 2025 season. 50% off refund only valid once. Offer valid from 23/1/25
